Oskotz, in the Imotz Valley.
Oskotz, is a small town of about 64 inhabitants (2020), livestock farming, located about 600 m. altitude, in the Navarrese mountain area.
It is surrounded by green fields, occupied by latxo cattle and dairy sheep.
In addition to lush beech and oak forests, perfect for walking, cycling or horseback riding, as in the case of “La Cañada de Las Provincias”, which crosses the boundaries of the town.
In the town you can visit the beautiful Gothic church of San Cristóbal, from the 14th century (during the Eucharist), perfectly restored inside.
You can also see, in a guided manner, the modern agricultural farms of the San Miguel Cooperative, of native dairy cattle and sheep.
